Luna had been single for a while...there was no doubt about it. Everyone said she was odd; she was. She was odd and different. She constantly searched for animals that most people thought of as 'fantasy'. Now, she was determined to prove them wrong, and had been working on it since she was little.

And tonight, her whole life would change.

"Hello," Luna said in her always dreamy voice, sprinkling bait across the surface of the river. The Freshwater Plimpies were in breeding season, and Luna was sure there would be an abundance of them.

Rolf stared at the girl oddly. "Hi. Are you fishing for Freshwater Plimpies, too?"

"Yes, I am. Getting some for soup, too?"

"No, I'm doing research on them. I'm Rolf. Rolf Scamander." Luna's eyes lit up.

"Your grandad is Newt Scamander?"

"Yes, he is."

"That must be so wonderful. May I give you a few Plimpies for your research? You must be in a hurry."

"No, no, not at all. I'm here to enjoy the sunset," he said with a smile on his face. Luna smiled and turned back to the Plimpies, who were swimming in little hearts. Luna turned back to Rolf, who has seemed to have left.

She frowned and sighed, frustrated and sad.
