Hey guys, so this is Ghost of Metal past's prize, a one shot about Anthony and his mom, I hope you guys like it XD
She smiled and watched as her eldest played around with her youngest...Having four children, it was bound to happen that they would split into groups. While Kevin might not want to admit it, he and Matt were growing very close as siblings. And began to hang around each other more...while Anthony and Kimberly were grouped together, even though there was a huge age difference, with Anthony being 25 and Kimberly being 3.
The two positively adored each other, she chuckled as Anthony sat down next to her, out of breath.
"Tired?" She asked jokingly, making him chuckle.
" No...maybe, I don't remember having that much energy when I was little." He replied, making her laugh.
"Oh honey, you were worse." She replied amidst her laughter, making him chuckle. He smiled as Kimberly ran around, after a couple of butterflys. They hadn't really been expecting his baby sister, but they loved her all the same...and Anthony especially, liked spending time around her.
" And if my grandchildren are going to be anything like you, then you'd best be prepared." She replied, making him laugh. Ever since he'd proposed to Kalel, his mother had been asking about grandchildren, and giving Kalel tiny little hints about how Anthony was when he was younger," to better prepare her if the child was like him" she said.
"Mom, even if we do have kids, how do you know they'd turn out like me?" He asked, making her smirk.
" I was right about Kalel becoming my daughter-in-law wasn't I?" She asked, Anthony smiled and shook his head, ok she had a point there. He sighed and rubbed the back of his neck.
"I don't know though, I mean... do you think I'd be a good dad though?" He asked, she smiled and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Yes I do, you're sensitive, you know just what to do to make people feel better, and believe me I don't know how I could've made it with Kevin and Matt, especially with my panic attacks if you weren't around..." She replied.
"Thanks mom." He said sincerely, she nodded and sighed before taking a drink of her lemonade.
" It seems like just yesterday you were Kimberly's age, now you're off getting married my how time flies..." Said his mother wistfully, she sighed and looked up at him.
"I'm just sorry you had to grow up so fast, and didn't really get to enjoy your teen years because of my...condition." Anthony hugged his mom and smiled at her.
"Don't be, I'm glad things turned out the way they did...besides...y'know,...and if it helps I'm not that grown up." He replied, with a small smile making her chuckle and ruffle his hair.
"No my little goofball, you sure aren't." She teased, when Kimberly came toddling over to Anthony.
" Anfuhnee, les play!" She exclaimed excitedly, making him chuckle.
" C'mere you." Said Anthony, picking her up and tickling her, as he set her on his lap, making her laugh. His mother smiled, and watched on as her eldest played with her youngest.
