Blindness
By SMYGO4EVA
The sun was bright and blistering to the young blood-drinker, even if it was almost 8 o'clock in the morning, and Aidou couldn't wait to just fall onto the bed and get some much needed rest.
After all that had happened, he still wanted everything to be as it was before, before all the pureblood and the hunter nonsense occurred.
After noticing the time on his alarm clock, Aidou abandoned the thoughts he had been playing with in his head. The stinging rays of the sun nearly ruined his eyes before he shut the curtains tightly, leaving his room in shuttered darkness, just the way he liked it, and the way it was supposed it be.
The way it was supposed to be….
Sayori-chan….
Aidou nearly froze when the image of Yuuki's classmate entered the vision of his mind, her eyes cast down in confusion and sadness when he took her away from her fallen friend.
She looked so sad….
All she wanted was to see if Yuuki was all right.
And he refused her.
He looked down at his hand, the one that carried Sayori away in a hurried pace, away from what had become of her former human friend.
Sayori was still blind to it now.
And she will always be blind to the truth.
Sighing in guilt, Aidou settled with lying on his bed and curling up on his pillow. He closed his eyes, and wondered what it would be like for her to finally see the truth.
It would be terrible.
Then the Night Class would be ruined.
If Sayori knew….
If the whole Day Class knew….
With regret, he began to drift off into a deep slumber, with neither two thoughts providing neither comfort nor remorse.
I want to leave, but the world won't let me go.
She shall forever be in blindness….
