Nothing lasts forever.
Today, my dear, Rin, I will grant all of your wishes.
Say any wish, I will grant it.
So, try calling out from the other side of the mirror.
Tonight, 'magic will reverse everything.'
In a dark room in a sealed tower, there was a boy. With sky blue eyes and messy blonde hair that was put in a ponytail, he looked like a prince. Oh, wait a minute, he was a prince, a prince of royal blood. Yet despite that, no one visited him. He was alone. The only thing you would hear in the tower would be his heartbeat. The prince was scorned, despised, feared, hated, he was a prince loved by misfortune. It seems nothing good would ever happen to him. Until, a certain day…
Dark gloomy clouds seem to have appeared out of nowhere and flooded the sky. Looks like the weather was mocking his mood because soon the weather turned from calm to chaotic in a matter of minutes. Great, a storm. Sighing, he muttered, "Well, I wasn't going to go out anyway." Then something unexpected happened to him. He heard a knock on the tower's door. Who would come here in the middle of a storm and why were they here out of all places? Confused, the blonde opened the door to find a blue haired man with a mirror in hand. "...Who are you and why are you here?" The unlucky prince asked. "Well, I have heard that you had misfortune, my lord." The man answered, ignoring the prince's first question. Raising an eyebrow, the blonde haired boy then asked, "...Who told you that?"With a smile, the man said, "From my mirror, of course." "Mirror?" The boy questioned. How could a mirror have told the man of his misfortune? "Yes, my lord. My mirror is magical. Whose fault is it for your misfortune? Try asking the mirror." The man said, handing the mirror to the prince. With a confused look, the prince asked the mirror, "Whose fault is it for my misfortune?"
A 'happy girl' with blonde hair and bright blue eyes was reflected in the mirror. When the prince saw the girl in the mirror, his heart hesitated, wavering with doubt. "All of 'my happiness' was taken away by this girl?" He questioned. The boy had trouble accepting this fact. How could this girl have taken away his happiness? "Yes, my lord. What you see in the mirror is the opposite of what is here. 'Everything is reversed' on the other side of the mirror." The man replied. When the unlucky prince heard this, his heart sank, all of that doubt and confusion was replaced with hatred and envy for this girl. Gritting his teeth in anger, he was outraged. How dare this girl live a life of luxury, while he's stuck in this tower!
The man who had noticed the prince's sudden mood change, smiled. "Oh, are you outraged by this fact, my lord? Well, if you want, would you like to change this destiny of yours?" "How exactly would you change it!? It's impossible!" The prince snapped. "Now, now, no need to be so mad. We can change this faith of yours with a little magic." The blue haired man replied, handing the prince a book. The boy, curiously started to look over the book. The book was in a strange language, he couldn't understand. The only thing he could read was the cover, which read, 'Alchemy and spells.' Furrowing his eyebrows, he asked, "Okay, what is this?" With a sly smile, the man replied, "It's your trip out of your misfortune, my lord. It has everything you need to change your faith." "Well, this would be more useful, if I could read it!" The prince snapped. "Now, now, you didn't let me finish. You will eventually learn how to read it and how to use it. But for now, you will be my apprentice."
