(Author's Note: So yeah, this is a poem I'm claiming is written from the perspective of William Pratt, AKA Spike, AKA Blondie Bear. I own nothing.)
Brown & Blue
By William Pratt
She believed in second chances
I gave her second glances
She believed in me
For her, I became all I could be
She loved ol' Percy
Though he was to dense to see
So poppet sought Advice
It broke me unbeating heart twice
Knowing I'd do her no harm
She sat beside me and held my arm
As less then pure thoughts passed through my head
'He's blind to my signs' she said
It was time for my fantasies to end
She sought me out as a friend
'Love,' I began, 'Signs are for the birds.'
'Actions speak louder then words.'
Kissed 'im she did
While in a bar I hid
I wanted her, she wanted him
A slave to love's every whim
I'd heard this tune before
And it left me just as sora
To trusting was the lass
Never suspected the scientific ass
So he never had to sing
And Green's alarm didn't ring
She got caught in a trap
And began to lose her mind to illness
Percy held her in his lap
While I went with Wanker to the Abyss
To save her meant thousands would die
So said the guardian in the tree
'I wasn't worth it' would say she
I should have stayed to say good bye
Blue was insane
And soon became my bane
An 'old one' she claimed to be
And she too liked Old Percy
But the city went to hell
And four eyes went and fell
She cried for a while
But vengeance was more her style
I thought I was alone down there
Almost didn't care
Then I heard a voice
And wasn't left with a choice
I thought it was the girl I lost
Scared, alone, and brunette
I should have know the cost
For in a fight she was the winning bet
In a tight space she was Blue
Near old allies she reverted
The others hadn't a clue
As to why I deserted
Blue called me her 'pet'
And I was in her debt
She kissed me once
I played the dunce
Because every day with out her-
With out Fred
Far worse then hell
Is a day I dread
