Ironic Relationships
Ironic. That's how you would have to describe their relationships. Simply ironic.
He was the one she had always teased.
She was the one he would always complain about.
She was the one who always took the opportunity to laugh at him.
And he was always the one who in retaliation would call her a pug face.
But deep down they probably did have feelings for each other. Because if they didn't then they wouldn't have been in the relationship they were now.
They had always hated each other. Sworn that they would always hate each other. And that's how they had been, until that night.
The night when Blaise Zabini, Draco Malfoy, Millicent Bullstrode and Pansy Parkinson joined the Light side.
No one knew why they had done it. They had wanted to ask but under Mrs. Weasley instructions they were told to leave it.
Everyone had been suspicious of them but they had proven who's side they were when they on when they came with a locket. Slytherins locket to be exact.
They had also helped to destroy it.
And by doing this they had become friends. But it was obvious they all felt something more than friendship because there was a lot of evidence to show this.
Since their friends relationships were quite ironic too.
Since they had helped destroy Voldemort this may have been the reasons why they all did what they did.
This was why Draco Malfoy hexed a guy for flirting with Luna Lovegood. This was why late nights found Hermione Granger and Blaise Zabini curled up in each others arms.
This was why Millicent Bullstrode smashed a girl's face for throwing herself all over Ron Weasley. This was why Neville Longbottom and Ginny Weasley were not teased when they started to go out.
And this might also have been the reason why Harry Potter saved Pansy Parkinson from a Killing Curse by throwing himself her on top of her and pushing her to the floor on the day of the Final Battle.
Yes it was ironic that the person she had sworn to hate was the one who had saved her life.
But what was more ironic was that the people they hated most in the world were the people they couldn't live without.
In Love And In Friendship.
