Another Hunger Game fan fiction. Thought I was done, guess not.

No one ever realized how much his death shook her world. His death. Her husband, lover, friend all gone. Her world gone, no light, no darkness, nothing but empty space. He was her world. Now her world was gone.

It was more then sadness, depression. It was a hole in her heart that would never again be filled. Her world forever titled slightly without him to balance it out.

She hated him for a while, but saying I hate you made it real. She kept quiet about it. that hatred for him didn't last longer, it hardly ever does when you're hating the one you love.

Fake it till you make it. Pretending. The one thing healers do best pretending that everything is okay even when its not. She wasn't pokay, her life wasn't okay, but she could act like it was. She was never really over it.

Watching her daughter Katniss struggle with her own love almost made her smile a real smile. Almost but not quite only he could make her do that.

Finally after the rebellion, after losing her daughter, after coming back together with her daughter, she was content. She didn't like the way her life turned out, but her daughter's life made her happy.

Her daughter would never have to know her pain, her sorrow. Her daughter would live wiht her husband and kids happily. They would enver ahve a looming shadow hanging over them.

She could stop pretending. She could let go. She could finally slip away until the day her love made her whole again.

AN/ originally this was a lot longer, but FF was being a but and deleted it all. So you get this. I hope that it's okay. Reviews are welcome.
