It was early in the morning and a figure was creeping through the forest as if looking for something or someone. He seemed to have found whatever he was looking for. Listening for any noise, the figure cast an irridescent blue light throughout the area. Mumbling softly to himself he didn't notice another approaching person. Slowly the second person crept up to the first figure.
"HEY ERO-SENSEI!" The figure jumped up and cursed loudly. All of a sudden the blue light faded quickly as if sucked up by something.
"Naruto you idiot! I was busy! What the hell did you sneak up on me for?" The figure happened to be Jiraiya, one of the Sannin. The other person, Naruto, happened to be Jiraiya's slightly hapless (but ocassionally genius) protégé.
"Eh? But I didn't think I'd actually surprise you…" Naruto thought about the events for a bit. "Actually…what were you doing out here anyways? Isn't it a bit early for a bathroom break?"
Jiraiya sighed. "I was hoping to get some time to set up my summoning jutsu. I was almost finished as well!" Looking resigned, Jiraiya started cleaning up his area distractedly.
"What were you doing out this early anyways? Don't you have training to do?" Naruto looked slightly put out at his sensei. He shifted his eyes right and left as if scoping the situation to make sure a pink haired kunoichi wouldn't pop out of the shrubbery .
" I was trying to get to town for some "ramen"." Ramen had become Naruto's code word for the womens' bathhouses. Obviously his master had rubbed off on him. Suddenly Jiraiya's expression changed from extreme irritation to extreme giddiness. Rubbing his hands together with a strange glint in his eye he grabbed Naruto by the collar and started sprinting.
"Oi! Ero-Sensei what are ya doing?" Naruto managed to cross his arms despite being dragged at a high velocity.
"Off to the womens' bathhouses! Kukukuku…" Jiraiya shouted in a slightly deranged manner. In all his haste to get to town Jiraiya had forgotten to completely disable the summoning area. Heading towards town Jiraiya remembered. 'Ah. It probably won't matter. Besides I have more important fish to fry.'
Halfway across the world Ron Weasley was getting ready to go to bed.
