A/N: Hey guys. So, I started watching Hetalia a few weeks ago and absolutely fell in love with Russia. He's so cute and sweet, even if he is a little scary. This was inspired by a pillow I put between the wall and me during the winter. Hope you enjoy!

You glare at the horrible object, wishing it would disappear. The offensive object in question is about four feet long, blue, and fuzzy. And no, it's not one of your friend Arthur's imaginary friends.

It's a pillow.

You'd had the thing for years, ever since your parents gave it to you for one of your birthdays. Typically, you put it in between the wall and yourself, since the wall got cold in the winter. However, you having had cause to use the pillow in months.

Normally your boyfriend, one Ivan Braginski, took the colder spot on the bed you two shared. Today he had to work late and wasn't home when you were ready to go to bed.

Hence the pillow.

With a sigh, you change into your (f/c) nightgown, brush and braid your hair, and grab a glass of water from the kitchen in case you get thirsty during the night. Finally, you snuggle into bed under the mountians of covers, the pillow against the wall, and close your (e/c) eyes.

After a few minutes, your eyes open again, and you roll over to face the door. Then you turn onto your back, then back to the wall. Checking the time reveals that it's only been ten minutes. You bang your forehead against the cold wall.

Why can't I sleep? It's not like I've never…. Your thought trails off as you remember: since you and Ivan started going out, you'd never spent a night without him. Slowly, you realize that as long as the big Russian is gone, you won't be getting any sleep.

You managed to slip into a fitful doze around eleven, but you woke up every ten minutes or so. When you were sleeping, you had bad dreams of Ivan being hurt and you being attacked by giant blue snakes.

At about five till midnight, the door to your room creaks open. The slight sound wakes you, and you sit up in bed, the covers falling off your shoulders.

"Ivan?" You ask, seeing a hulking silhouette in the doorway. "Is that you?"

He chuckles gently. "Da, sunflower. Did I vake you?"

"No. I couldn't sleep. Come to bed." You say.

Another laugh. "Let me get changed, da?"

He carefully makes his way over to the dresser. Even though you can't see him clearly, you know what he's doing. First, the Russian carefully removes his precious scarf, then his coat. His boots were left by the door. Finally he grabs his pyjamas and heads to the bathroom.

You lay back, content knowing your boyfriend is home and safe. Getting comfortable once more, you start to drift off. When Ivan comes back to the room, he is wearing a pair of red pants and a white tank top. He stands over the bed for a moment before sitting down and summoning a bit of energy.

Purple light swirls around him and carefully lifts you off the bed about a foot. Ivan then slips under you and the covers before setting you down with your head on his chest. With the last shreds of energy, he hurls the pillow across the room.

You curl into his side, drowsy with warmth and lack of sleep. Ivan's arms close around you, and he presses a kiss to the top of your head.

"Ivan?" You mumble.

"Da, sunflower."

"Thank you for being my pillow."
