Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter. J.K. Rowling does. And she did an amazing job.
Isaac was sitting in the Gryffindor Common Room with his two best friends Jack and Roger discussing the Quidditch practice earlier that evening.
And then she walked it.
Her red hair was up, she was wearing jeans and a Gryffindor sweater, but to Isaac she looked stunning.
"Oi, Potter! Whatcha lookin' at?" Roger yelled at Isaac as he waved his hand in front of his friend's face.
"Nothing, er guys I gotta go. Left my potions book over by the fireplace," Isaac responded as he got up and walked towards the fireplace, and Lindsay-the girl he had secretly been infatuated with. And today he was finally going to make a move.
"Uh, hi Lindsay," Isaac said as Lindsay turned around and her girlfriends giggled and moved away.
"Hi Isaac!" Isaac's stomach did a little swoop when she said his name.
"I was ,er, wondering if you would want to go to Hogsmeade with me this weekend?" He watched her reaction carefully.
She was confused then a smile spread across her face. "I would love to! I've liked you for a while now,"
She looked up at his thin face and stood on her tiptoes and planted a kiss on his cheek. "Great! Fantastic! Thanks!" Isaac was happier than he had ever been. They sat together by the fireplace and talked for the rest of the night and early into the morning.
Both Isaac and Lindsay had an amazing time that weekend, and well, the rest is history.
A/N: Well, if you hadn't realized it Isaac and Lindsay are James Potter's parents.
