Disclaimer:

I don't own Batman or Joker. If I did I would not have made it where there are three of them. I hope it's some Joker trick or something. Anyway - sorry for the first chapter being so short.

It wasn't the best of plans, that I'll admit. Alfred and Dick Grayson stated their concern more times then necessary. It was a gamble, and a risky one at that. I had my own doubts on my way here.

"The rick kid is here!" One of the goons shouted.

Joker didn't give me much of a choice however. I had to go undercover as Bruce Wayne to figure out his plans. Joker wasn't telling his goons anything and even Harley didn't have the information I needed. The only thing I knew was Joker had been planning something big.

Something I had to stop before it had the opportunity to begin.

Hence my new act as Bruce Wayne needing help gaining information on a mutual enemy.

I reminded myself this as I was led to another room. Upon entering I took in my surroundings. The abandoned building had floorboards that was given in and old pieces of decoration that was falling off the walls. In the middle of the room stood Joker in his classic purple suit and vivid green hair. The clown had his back turned to us and only looked over his shoulder when he heard footsteps. There was a sudden smile on his face as he spun around to greet me.

"Bruce Wayne! One of my favorite celebrities!" He said loudly in his high pitched voice.

I chose not to say anything until he was done putting on a show.

The Joker approached me, leaning forward as he walked. "Aren't you a beauty?" One of the pale hands grabbed me by my face. I did my best to keep my anger in as the clown turned my head to examine my features. "How'd you like to be my new Harley?" he asked with a grin.

I pulled back away from his grip. Joker's hand fell to his side yet his grin remained. "I'm here for help." I went straight to the point.

"Yes I've heard." Joker said with a shake to his head. "Poor rich boy got himself in trouble did he?"

"Something like that."

Joker gave a frown. "So the big fat bird got you scared?" he asked in a sad exaggerated voice. "Have no fear! I'm the man you need!"

Need to be stopped that is.

"I know how you work. Don't think you can pull a trick on me last minute. You get what you want and I get what I want." I wasn't an idiot. I knew it wasn't going to be that simple when it comes to Joker. It just had to seem like Bruce was that gullible.

Joker stuck out his hand for a shake. "Deal." he said, shining his teeth.

I clenched my jaw. I didn't even feel safe shaking his hand. "It better be." I said, not returning the gesture.

My green haired enemy gave me a lopsided grin. He raised his hand and hit me in the back. "Don't worry Bruce! We'll have a hell of a time!"
