Drabble – Strange
Rolling hills stretched beyond the horizon leading the snaking column of people, horses and wagons.
Alexander and Hephaestion rode side-by-side enjoying the quiet of the afternoon.
"We have seen a lot of different things on our journeys, Hephaestion." Said Alexander.
"Aye," Answered his friend, "What is the strangest thing you have seen?"
Alexander replied thoughtfully, "Some of the animals, I think, people are pretty much the same everywhere"
"What about you?"
Hephaestion knitted his eyebrows together then broke out in a grin before answering.
"Your Mother!" he said before kicking his horse's side to get away from Alexander's long reach.
