Percy squeezed Annabeth's hand, gazing into his wife's eyes. She was the most beautiful person-her blonde hair now white, and gray eyes that looked like calm storm clouds.

"Seaweed brain," Annabeth murmured. Tears ran down her cheeks, but she didn't wipe them away.

A grin settled on Percy's face. "You haven't called me that since forever."

"Well, I suppose it's worth the time now. You will wait for me? In the Underworld?"

"Always." The words faded away as Percy closed his eyes, taking in Annabeth's eyes...Annabeth's smile...Annabeth. Darkness clouded his vision, and he could hear Annabeth's last words.

"Wait for me, Seaweed Brain."

Flickering his eyes open, Percy looked around the room. He was still in Camp Half-Blood, in the Poseidon Cabin, still young. But...

Rushing out, not caring if he was still in just his boxers, he finally came to the Athena door. Opening it, he spotted Annabeth, who whirled around from Daedalus' laptop.

"Percy!" she exclaimed, taking in Percy with only his underwear. "What are you doing here?"

A couple of Athena campers were staring at the scene, until Malcolm cleared his throat.

"Let's leave this couple alone," he commanded. "Come on!"

As they shuffled out, with the door closing, Percy sat beside Annabeth.

"Something wrong?" she asked.

Gazing into her eyes, Percy could see infinite love behind them. "No, nothing," he said. "Annabeth, I love you."

A smile tugged at Annabeth's mouth. "I love you too."

And just right there, the two demigods sat there, smiling like they knew something that the world didn't know.

Annabeth leaned her head against her boyfriend's shoulder.

"When we get older," Percy said softly, "I want to start a family."

Never making any serious statements as this, Annabeth was silent.

Percy looked away, flushing. It must be the wrong thing to say. But instead, he could feel his hand squeezed gently.

"That's a pretty big step for us." Annabeth stood up. "Now put on some clothes, before people think that we're starting something."

Laughing, Percy walked outside, oblivious to the stares he was given.

"Percy pulled Annabeth close and kissed her...long enough for it to get really awkward for Piper, though she said nothing. She thought about the old rule of Aphrodite's cabin: that to be recognized as a daughter of the love goddess, you had to break someone's heart. Piper had long ago decided to change that rule. Percy and Annabeth were a perfect example of why. You should have to make someone`s heart whole; that was a much better test."
