This year had not been a good one for the Weasley family. Bill Weasley and his wife, Fleur, had lost their first child during delivery complications. Charlie had been bitten by a dragon in Romania and was sent home to recover. Percy still had not contacted his parents since their feud a few years back. In times like these, when war had broken out, family was a key to survival. However bright Percy was he had yet to notice this. Fred and George had lost loads of business lately. No one dared to go out shopping. Joke shops and war did not seem to mix well. Ron was off on the search for He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named' s horcuxes. He was fighting in one of the most dangerous battles any Weasley would ever face.

While all this had occurred, Ginny had been in Hogwarts, studying and working hard because she knew her mother would not have another child not graduate Hogwarts. So much heartbreak and sorrow had been inflicted on her family this past year. She knew she had to do something. One day during Potions, she asked Luna what she thought about the situation.

"A ray of sunshine is a great way to brighten up life right now", Luna replied. An idea sparked in Ginny's head.

Years ago when she was young, her family rented a large home on the beach that Auntie Muriel owned. She had such fond memories of burying Percy in the sand or flying kites as she sat on Charlie's broad shoulders. It was the only time she had ever seen her mother calm. Her father loved the water. And although all came home with sunburns, which made their skins redder than red, they loved the entire trip. The house was quite large with enough room for everyone to bring someone and still have there own space. After class ended, she ran up to the owlery. She decided it was time to send dear Auntie Muriel a letter.
