Italy burst into the room. Germany and Japan, who had been talking about their war plans, looked up in surprise.
"Gerrrmmaannnyy," cried Italy. "Romano told me that you and Japan loved each other and that you were doing things in here. What are you guys doing? Romano wouldn't tell me anything else..."

"Italy! Romano is here? How long has he been here?" Germany demanded angrily. Italy got upset at Germany's tone and started crying.

"I don't know!" sobbed Italy, "I just saw him and he asked were you were and I said you were in here with Japan."

Japan and Germany looked awkwardly at each other as Italy continued to cry hysterically.

"And then I came in here," Italy went on, "cause I wanted to see if you guys really loved each other.."
Now Italy stopped crying and smiled. "I would support you Germany! Japan is really nice. I hope you're happy together!"

Germany and Japan looked awkwardly at each other again.

"No...no Italy..." Germany said awkwardly.

"What?" Italy asked with his normal stupid smile.

"Japan and I are not in love." Germany's face went red, "I'm in love with someone else."

"Oh that's sweet Doitsu! You should tell her how you feel!"

"Unrequited love..." Germany whispered as Italy turned his back to leave.

"What was that?" Italy asked sweetly.

"N-nothing!" Germany yelled defensively.

"Alright. I'm off to find Romano again."

"Have fun Itary!" Japan called after him.

Italy, finding Romano told him,"Silly Romano! Germany is in love with someone else! It is not Japan!"
Romano grinned evilly.

"Oh I'm sorry Italy. I must have gotten it wrong," Romano said sweetly to Italy. "But I bet I know who Germany really is
in love with..."

Romano whispered a name in Italy's ear. Italy gasped. "Really Romano? That's who Germany's in love with?"

"Well, I'm pretty don't you go ask him? Oh and by the way," Romano paused, "if Germany gets defensive and blushes, it means I'm right."

Italy bounded off to go and find Germany. Again.

"You love America?" Italy asked in shock.

"What the hell?!" Germany yelled jumping out of his chair.

A few of his 'war strategies' came flying off the desk we was sitting at. Italy shrunk back. "What?" He whimpered.

"I do not love America! He is obnoxious and loud and i do not love him!" Germany shouted, "Why would you think that?"

"Romano said so..." Italy said quietly.

"Well maybe you shouldn't believe everything your brother says, especially if it's about him." Germany grumbled.

"Okay." Italy whispered, sounding a bit hurt. Then he turned his back and skipped off.

Japan looked at Germany.

"What?" Germany snapped.

"Nothing. It's just that you should be nicer to Itary. He really looks up to you."

Germany blushed and defended himself. "He needs to learn to be assertive. He just starts crying
whenever someone just raises their voice."

Japan frowned. It was obvious that Itary would never change so why would Germany say that? Maybe Germany just
wanted what was best for Itary. They were as close as brothers. Maybe even closer.

Germany sighed, "Italy doesn't know the first thing about fighting. What's going to happen if America comes over here? Not that he would
but still..."

"It's sweet you care about him." Japan smiled lightly.

"He needs to be cared about...he needs to be protected." Germany said muttered staring out the window, "He's small, and helpless."

"You should give him some credit." Japan said nervously.

"I try..but he always gets hurt." Germany said defensively. "I don't like seeing him get hurt."

"It is hard watching him cry...he's a full grown man." Japan said in an undertone.

"He's too gullible, believing anything his brother says, i mean come on, it's not fair. He should trust me." Germany said sadly.

"Itary-kun is so loved." Japan smiled.
