Sarah was walking Harry her 22 lb beagle it was a brisk winter morning in late December Sarah smiled to herself as she realized it was the 31 almost the new year. She was so caught up in her thoughts she didn't notice a coke can on the ground, all of a sudden she slipped and fell on her face.
"Would you like some help", over her stood a tall skinny man in a blue suit and a trench coat."I would say people are gonna destroy the world with these" he said holding up the coke can,"well not these specifically, just trash in general," he continued as he helped Sarah up. "But I saw it end in 5.5/apple/26".
"What!?"
"Its a long story including a stretched piece of skin claiming, well being the last human, some spider robots, and blue children giving me a parking ticket", he said extremely fast.
"Slash apple?" Sarah muttered
"Ya but that was a lifetime ago, literally, then I met Charles Dickens on the christmas of 69, 1869,but now I'm raving", he continued at the machine gun fire speed "walk with me" he said as he started walking away.
Sarah was too stunned to walk for second "wait up" she said running after him.
"No need to shout" he said from right next to her.
"But you were the a but ah what" she said flustered.
"Are you ok?" he asked, "you look like you could ..." Sarah started spacing out and was just noticing where they were and that it was getting late, they were walking through the overgrown garden of an old church with statues of angels covering their eyes scattered throughout, then out of the corner of her eye she noticed...
"wait did that just move" she interrupted.
"What" he said with a start "no it can't be" he muttered confused "it's the weeping angeā¦" he stopped as he disappeared into a flash of light.
"Hello?" she asked "is anyone there?" but of course no one responded. Sarah looked around and realized the statues were getting closer ever time she looked at them they were closer yet never when she saw them, they were mocking her. Then she was against the wall, her scream echoed through the church but she was gone, seconds before the clock struck midnight.
