Two young men, William and Daniel, walked along the beach in their bare feet. They could feel the cold water hit their feet, and how they loved the feeling of the water. Both were flirts, all the women in the kingdom simply adored them. They were young and handsome, both had tousled brown hair and green eyes. Both were eighteen years old. If you hadn't assumed yet, dear readers, William and Daniel are twins and brothers. There is, however, one trait in them that was never meant to be adapted. Foolishness.

"Come on, Daniel. You're lagging behind." William complained.

Daniel was a bit slow, he had a terrible limp from an accident not too long ago. He had wished there was something to fix his leg, but not at this day of age. He turned his head when he heard humming, almost like a captain could hear a cannon fire 20 yards away.

"Danny, come on!" William urged.

"Do you hear that humming?" Daniel asked.

"No." William shook his head.

The humming began ringing in Daniel's ears, he smiled and followed the melodic song. William had not noticed his twin run off and continued to walk down the beach, he finally turned around and saw Daniel had vanished.

"Daniel?" William called out.

William became frantic, his brother had never left his side before and he always worried because of Daniel's injury. He walked down the beach again, calling out for Daniel but there was no response. He suddenly turned his head to the water and saw Daniel swimming out further into the ocean.

"Daniel, STOP! YOUR LEG!" William cried.

Pretty soon, Daniel went under water. William removed his shirt and boots and dived into the water, quickly rescuing his brother. Both were coughing as they rose to the surface.

"The voice...I need to see her." Daniel said urgently.

"A voice...Is that all that matters to you? A PRETTY voice." A voice boomed from the skies.

"I don't like this." William said quietly.

Suddenly, a beautiful sorcess arose from the ocean waves and began singing a beautiful song.

"It is you." Daniel was shocked.

"Are you so blinded by beauty? Is the face of a seductress all that tempts you?" The sorcess questioned.

"I find beautiful women, make wonderful wives." Daniel smirked.

"Danny..Be quiet." William warned.

"Would you lead a young woman up to your chambers and seduce her simply because she has the eyes of an angel?" The sorcess asked.

"Beauty is the eye of the beholder." Daniel protested.

"Do you agree with your brother, sir?" The sorcess asked.

"Of course, I do. However, what right do you have to judge us so quickly? My brother simply followed a song and nothing more. Leave us be." William warned.

The sorcess dissapeared suddenly, William and Daniel made it to shore. William hauled Daniel to his feet.

"Come on, let's get back-"

William suddenly a sharp jab in his side, Daniel knelt by his side.

"Willy?" Daniel asked.

"I don't feel so good." William moaned.

"Well, come on. We are almost home! Mother and Father will know what is wrong." Daniel insisted.

"I can't walk." William said quietly.

A bright light flashed and suddenly the sorcess appeared on land, Daniel snapped his head to look at her. He seemed extremely crossed.

"What have you done to him?" Daniel asked.

The sorcess only spoke this rhyme:

Beauty is the eye of the beholder, you told

For saying that, your body you've sold

Seduction is the game you love to play

Fun it may be, but be that as it may

If only good looks is what you seek from a wife

Then know this, you have given me your life

If you only wish for a woman to kiss the end of your heel

Then you must live life, live the life of an eel.

Daniel was hit with the same pain William was feeling, he fell to the ground and fainted only moments later. Daniel's eyes focused on the sorcess before he blanked out, the only words he could mutter.

"Don't do this..."
