Yeah, I officially now have a Merlin obsession! YAY! So to celebrate have a small warm hearted drabble!
Hopefully in the near future I should (yes should) be writing a full fledged story! It's only half planned out though so you might have a little wait! Hopefully my next Merlin Fic will be a bit more original but hey, enjoy!
Disclaimer: ...I don't own Merlin, if I did it would have ended differently!
Warning: Errors ahead. I've wrote this so that's a given. XD
To say Arthur was annoyed would be an understatement. If anyone else dared push his buttons –that included Merlin, especially Merlin– they would be thrown into the stocks promptly followed by a week in prison.
Yes, Arthur was furious.
And why was the future king of Camelot so irate?
Well, it was all because of a map.
All it was a simple piece of paper with coloured lines on it telling them were they were and where they were going, it seemed it couldn't even get that right! It was even more incompetent then Merlin! Apparently, that was possible.
He'd followed the map correctly! He had even made sure to double-check…
Now he was lost god knows where! With Merlin!
Stupid map not working! He would have burned it already if it wasn't the map he owned of the area.
All he wanted was nice relaxing morning hunting and possibly if he got the chance to push Merlin in a lake for good measure but no none of that happened!
Merlin on the other hand trying so hard not to say anything, or laugh, considering how agitated the prince already was...
He'd figure it out in his own time.
Well hopefully...
...Two very long hours later...
He still hadn't figured it out! Merlin somewhat feared for the future of Camelot…
"Arthur."
"Yes?" Arthur spat angrily
"The map-"
Arthur snorted. "It's a load of rubbish, yes I know."
"No, it's not that-" Merlin sighed. "-how to put this…"
"Spit it out already!" Arthur was running out of patience, well that was if he hadn't already.
Merlin rolled his eyes. "You're holding it upside down you prat!."
"Oh."
Merlin kept quiet knowing the realisation hadn't hit home yet.
"I'VE WHAT?!"
Let's just say Merlin for the rest of the day had to deal with the future king who was having a temper and tantrum while trying to reconnect the pieces of a turn up map while trying to find their way back home…
