A/N Sorry, for all you people that read our other stories. Liesl and I have really bad writers block and can't write at the moment. Yeah. Please don't kill us. Okay. Here's a little Captain Swan one shot we wrote. Love you.
It all started with a bloody sandwich and Killian's inability to properly do common household chores.
Killian and I were making Henry lunch. He requested a grilled cheese sandwich on rye. A simple, mundane task that every ten year-old could do and yet the three hundred year old pirate couldn't manage. The poor idiot forgot to take the plastic wrap off of the cheese before placing it on the bread to melt. Naturally the kitchen caught on fire, melting the pan that had housed the sandwich, and damaged the stove.
This incident lead to Killian and I arguing, me fleeing from the scene of the crime to shut myself in our room, and Killian racing after me trying to apologize. I laid curled up on the bed, trying to keep back the tears that threatened to escape, while Killian stood outside trying to get my attention.
"KILLIAN, WILL YOU STOP BANGING ON THE GODDAMN DOOR?!" I demanded, wincing as my voice broke.
"MAYBE IF YOU LET ME IN LOVE I WOULD STOP!"
"SORRY LOVE, BUT I DON'T FEEL LIKE FUCKING DEALING WITH YOU AT THE MOMENT!"
"Mom, if I don't get to curse then neither do you," Henry said calmly.
"Sorry Henry, it's just that KILLIAN IS BEING A TWAT!"
"EMMA YOU BLOODY INFURIATING WOMAN! LET ME IN! I SAID I WAS SORRY! I ASSURE YOU THAT I DO LOVE LIVING HERE! I JUST SAID I DON'T BECAUSE I KNEW IT WOULD GET YOU TO BACK OFF! I SWEAR I DIDN'T MEAN IT!" He shouted.
I glared at the door and was tempted to throw a book at it just to make him leave.
"Please love. Just let me in. You can be mad at me all you want, but please don't shut me out. What can I do to prove to you that what I said wasn't the truth?" He whispered, sounding defeated.
I got up and made my way over to the door. I quickly unlocked it and sat back down on the bed. The door opened a smidgen and Killian peered in.
"Am I allowed in?" He asked sweetly.
I simply nodded and the next thing I knew Killian was crouching in front of me. He wiped away the tears that had overflowed. He kept his hand on my cheek and rubbed his thumb gently back and forth.
"Look at me love. You're amazing and brilliant and I do love living here. It's just some things are harder for me and I know I shouldn't have taken it out on you," he said, his Caribbean blue eyes swimming with regret.
"I shouldn't have yelled at you. You were only trying to help."
"So, does this mean I'm forgiven?"
He looks so hopeful, his handsome face adopting his well known pouty look. His puppy dog eyes pulled at my heartstrings, he knew I was a sucker for blue eyes, and his hand that continued to stroke my face was warm. I crumbled.
"Yes, you are forgiven. Although, I'm making you help my father fix the stove. Should be a good punishment," I said smiling.
"Yes, I would love to help your father if it meant my beautiful Swan wasn't mad at me."
I leaned forward and gave him a small kiss.
"I love you," he said quietly.
"I love you too."
"Ugh, gross. I didn't need to see you two being all cute," Henry said from the doorway.
"Beat it kid," I said curtly.
Killian kissed me yet again and domestic life continued in this fairytale ridden town.
