I am scared. One day I'll die and I don't know what will happen. I wouldn't be scared if I didn't know that I could die any day now. I have a blood clot behind my frontal lobe. I've already started going blind, and my fingertips are numb. My mother sits by me, and I feel a pang of guilt as she cries. If only I hadn't decided to jump. I had jumped off of our building, trying to do a parkour stunt, but I fell short and dropped thirty feet head first.
I gasp and sit up fast as I feel something cold trail along my neck, right where my jugular vein is. I grasp my neck, feeling as if thick warm liquid was flooding my throat. I gasp and choke, hardly noticing my Mother calling for a doctor. I glance at the small TV in the corner. Naruto was on. I see a glimpse of Jade before my world explodes into pained screams. My vision is darkening, and I can't breathe. The last thing I see is a doctor rushing into the room, right as I flatline.
Sakura Haruno is a thirteen year old kunoichi. She is genin and is on Team Seven, along with Genin Uzumaki Naruto, genin Uchiha Sasuke, led by Jounin Hatake Kakashi. She was seen as the useless one, who was nothing but a fangirl, and weak. Unknowingly, this led to a buildup of pressure on poor Sakuras shoulders. She felt as though she was never good enough, and grew insecure, but built a mask to hide it. It's the day after the incident at the Konoha Hospital, where two water towers were destroyed, because of her teammates fighting. She wasn't able to stop it, and felt more useless than ever. So, with dull green eyes, no longer vibrant with false happiness, she pulled out a Kunai, examining it carefully. The dim light of her bedside lamp glinted off the tip as she trailed it along her neck, cold metal sliding against her fair skin.
She took a deep breath and quickly dug the blade through her skin, pulling it , slicing through her jugular vein, and choking on her blood. Her Inner began screaming at her cowardice, taking the easy way out. The last thing she saw as her vision faded was a flash of crimson, and a bright sunshine yellow.
"SAKURA!?"
"SAKURA-CHAN!"
