Mylene's Assassination
Belongs to those who own Tales of Symphonia.
The little boy looked at his snowman in delight, grinning from ear to ear. His vibrant red hair fell around his chin in waves. His pale green eyes were on the snowman before him. It was tall. His mother had helped him make it. He grinned at his creation. Coal black eyes, a carrot nose and a small hat adorned the snowy creation. He noticed that red snow was drifting towards his prized creation. He looked around for the source, and found his mother to be staring at him.
Her long red hair fanned out behind her. Her eyes sought his, and her hand clamped down onto his shoulder as she slowly sunk into the snowy ground. "You should have never been born," she muttered darkly, the words coming out as a pained gasp. "Worthless child!"
He flinched back from her, staring. She collapsed suddenly against the snow. The purity of the white wonder, slowly staining red, so like his innocence as it dried and boiled up in that moment. The papal knights rushed over, but there was nothing that anyone could do. She was dead. And the half-elf that killed her, stood right there, staring at Zelos. The young boy felt rage surge up in him, more powerful that he had ever expected. He couldn't even summon tears to his dry eyes.
He watched as the knights took the loathed monster and locked it up. He hoped to see it dead. He hoped to watch it die. He looked at his mother. The beast had killed her, and taken her from him. He wished that he could have said that the half-elf had made her say those words. But he knew that the bestial murderer had nothing to do with. He hated that more than anything.
