Sam stared into the drain's dark maw as Dean's rear end disappeared into its fetid blackness.
"Keep watch, Sam", Dean said as he crawled into the culvert's stygian depths. 'You're not facing the boggart, you're staying out here, safe'. That's what Sam heard.
It had only been a minute; Sam hearing the echoing squishes and splashes as Dean crawled through the slimy torrent, occasional curses and muttered oaths drifting his way until Sam's blood was chilled by an ear-piercing scream echoing through the dark abyss.
"DEAN!" He cried, his mind filling with dread as no response was forthcoming.

"SAMMY! SONOFA … AAAAAAAARGH!"
Dean's scream became a shrill yelp.
Instantly Sam was in the drain, disregarding Dean's orders as he forged through the cramped space crawling along the slimy brickwork, his mind tormented by visions of Dean, lying broken and bloody in the darkness.
What he didn't expect to see was Dean, eyes wide as pebbles and black as jet in the inpenetrable gloom, squatting in four inches of stagnant water with his pants round his ankles.
"Uh, Dean?" Sam prompted.
"Sam, oh God, it's disgusting," Dean croaked nauseously
"The boggart?" Sam coaxed.
Dean shook his head.
"Eel up my pants leg," he whimpered.
