Artemis Fowl fanfic
Hi guys! New story and all that. I've had it in my head for a while and now it just wouldn't stay in there any more. I hope you enjoy. XD
Mia: Yeah right. You just want an excuse to stop writing about me. -.-'
What? Come on, that's crazy. Roger's the one that doesn't like you. Go beet him up and I'll be your biggest fan!
Mia: *cracks knuckles* Ohh, ROGER?
Roger: *screams like a girl and hides behind curtain*
Anyway, enjoy the prologue!
Disclaimer: So far I only own Shealyn. I also own Jaime and Alex, but you don't know them yet.

Prologue
Artemis Fowl II had been looking at the same novel for about two hours straight. He had read the thing five times in a row, gone over every single detail of the plot, the characters and the locations. He had used every available search engine and a couple he had invented himself. The novel in his hands did not make sense. That is, the plot was interesting, the characters well thought of and the imagination behind it all was incredible. But it was all too real.
The book in Artemis' hand was the third in a new series by a new author. The series revolved around a young, orphaned girl, living in a world of faeries, trying to find her parents. However innocent that might sound, this novel had brought Artemis nothing but frustration.
Heather, the orphaned girl, lived in Haven, a secret faerie city under the human world. She had befriended a centaur named Coley, who worked for the police department as their technology expert. Through him, Heather had met Mulf BigGums, a dwarf with a casual view of laws. The task of finding Heathers natural parents send the three friends through lots of interesting situations, from dysfunctional supercomputers, to a dwarf war and finally, in the book which Artemis was holding, an a trip to a civilisation of demons.
Artemis turned the book over in his hands once again. Surprisingly close to real life as it all seemed, the author was irritating him more than anything else. Of course he had already been in contact with Foaly, both geniuses trying to find the information they needed. He had also talked to Holly, but she seemed even more confused about it, than anybody else.
A grumble of frustration escaped him as he reached under his desk and pushed a button. Seconds later his door opened to let a big, bold man in. Artemis didn't even look up from the novel.
"Butler, I want you to find Shealyn Short."
