So, after seeing that a bunch of people were adding Of Love and Shawarma to their story alerts as well as their favorites, I figured that I ought to wright a sequel to it! Thank you all for reading Of Love and Shawarma, because you all inspired me to write this one!

Disclaimer: It saddens me to admit that I own none of these characters or the setting, or anything Marvel.

Set post-Avengers and post-Of Love of Shawarma - go read that one first, please!

They're gone," Tony announced as he strode into the room where Pepper was.

"I could've guessed," Pepper said wryly, snuggling closer to Tony as he wrapped his arm around her waist.

"Oh? And how is that?" He challenged.

"Steve and Thor aren't trying to figure out where Jarvis lives and how much he knows; Natasha and Clint aren't hashing out the Budapest to figure out who remembers it correctly." Pepper smiled.

"And what about Banner?"

"I think that Bruce was a good boy."

"Are you kidding me?" Tony feigned shock. "That man went all Hulk – awesome, might I add – and left Loki-sized dents in my floor! Now, I have to haul up more concrete." His fake shock changed to a semi-fake pout.

"Face it, Tony. You would've left Iron Man-shaped dents in the floor eventually – Bruce just beat you to it," Pepper joked.

Tony moved from Pepper's side to stand in front her. He placed his hands on her upper arms and said, "Well, now that that's all hashed out, can we move on to the promise you made?" He waggled his eyebrows.

"You," Pepper poked his chest, "still have homework. No fun until your homework's done."

"What? Have you been watching the news? I'm pretty sure I've finished my homework," Tony argued.

"Your homework will be done once you've fixed this building and built the DC building."

"Ah, yes, the building that's supposed to say 'Potts' on the side," Tony headed over the holographic design board to pull up the schematics for fixing Stark Tower and for the DC building.

"And on the lease," Pepper said.

Tony hissed in a breath. "Ooh, still not sure about that, Potts." Pepper lightly smacked him on the arm.

"Ouch! I'm not wearing my armor, you know," Tony joked.

"And here I was thinking that you were a big boy that could handle a little pain," Pepper teased back.

"Trust me, this big boy can handle more than a little pain," Tony said in a low voice. Pepper simply rolled her eyes in response.

"Now, come here if you want to see you tower," He ordered. He pressed his hand to the design board and then lifted it up, creating a miniature, holographic version of the soon-to-be-built tower.

Pepper obeyed and sauntered over. She rolled her eyes and laughed when she saw the writing on the side of the building.

"You know, you're a pretty stupid genius," She said.

"And why is that?"

"That's not how you spell 'Potts'." Pepper motioned to the holographic display. "You got two of the letters right, but they're not in the right spots," She continued to joke. The side of the tower read 'Stark'.

"Is that so?" Tony asked slowly. His heartbeat sped up a bit as he stuck his hand in his back pocket. He knew that he was making the biggest – and the best – decision of his life as he removed his hand, taking with it a small, black velvet box.
