Danny and Lindsay "Stuck On You"

He was running late. Danny had just arrived at Cozy's. He looked around for Lindsay, and then he saw her wave at him from the table she was sitting at.

"Sorry I'm late."

Wow, I she's beautiful. Even in just jeans and a sweater. Or is it a cardigan? Not important, she looks great anyways.

"It's okay. I ordered you a beer."

How'd she know that's just what'd I'd want?

"Thanks. So, what's up?"

I wonder why she told me to meet her here. Not that I'm not glad she did.

"Just something I thought you might be interested in."

How is it she'd know I'd want a beer, but is somehow under the impression I like jazz music?

"Jazz music? That's me."

The song ended and Lindsay clapped and Danny joined in.

Ah, who care's if I gotta sit through some jazz music? She invited me to come here with her. As long as I get to be with her, it doesn't matter.

"I'd like to thank Miss Carol Williams, all they way from Chicago, our special guest."

No way, that can't be Mac. It is too! So that's why she brought me here. I didn't even know he played. Huh, wouldn't ya know it. He's actually pretty good.

"Get outta here! You kidding me? How'd you know he played?"

How did she know? I've known Mac for a long time and even I didn't know he played.

"I figured it out. I could tell by the way he held the bass, in the lab, that he knew guitars, and I knew he had a standing appointment on Wednesdays. Could've been a shrink, or yoga, but I took the music option."

"I'm impressed."

I really am impressed. She impresses me all the time.

"Maybe you didn't know him as well as you thought."

Hm, maybe she's right. You know what though, I'm glad I didn't know him as well as I thought. If I did, then I wouldn't get to spend this time with Lindsay right now. And for that, I'm happy.
