Trunks raked a hand through his lavender hair and looked at his tear streaked face in his mirror
{I have got to pull my self together, she's only a girl} he thought. After splashing water on his face and hoping his eyes weren't too puffy, so no-one would notice ,especially his father. He walked out of the bathroom and down the long Capsule Corporation halls back to where the party was. Once he got back into the room a slow song came through the speakers, that made him freeze.

{ Damn coincidence } He thought * flashback* "Hey Pan!" Trunks called out to the one that had captured his heart. " Trunks.... Hey" She said smiling. " You wanna Dance?" He asked when he heard a slow song come through " Sure." She replied. Once they were on the dace floor Pan stood on her tiptoes and kissed him. Trunks felt his heart almost fly
* present * Trunks dared a glance at Pan when he heard the next verse start & was surprised to see her looking back

I even think I saw a flash of light
