Farewells

Yeah, I've been a little busy, and it's getting harder to put them up on time...sorry for the late posts, which may continue more often ^^"
"This is such a drag," the young man said, watching the sun rise.
The one beside him chuckled. "Maybe you should have gone to sleep earlier, Shikamaru,"
Shikamaru looked at him. "That's because I thought a 12 hour sleep would be enough, Neji."
"12 Hours? What a waste of time!" Said the third man of the team.
Neji looked at him. "Shut up Naruto, people are still sleeping."
"Idiot."
"Hey! Not my fault that this strategist of ours is so sleepy after so much rest."
"What part of shut up don't you get?"
Shikamaru sighed. "Too late Neji."
The other two turned around, seeing Tenten and Sakura approaching.
The pink haired girl punched Naruto.
"Idiot! We could hear you from the other side of the village!"
"S-Sorry."
"So why are you out so early in the morning, you two?" asked Neji.
Sakura looked at him. "Ino and I had to work during the night at the hospital, and we just finished our shifts. On our way home we bumped into Tenten. That's when she told us that You three were going on a mission and wouldn't be back for a while."
Shikamaru looked around. "Where's Ino then?"
Tenten giggled. "She said she was too tired to see you guys off."
"So what were you doing out so early, Tenten?"
The girl blushed a little. "Well, as you were going to be gone for a long time, I didn't want you to go without saying goodbye and good luck."
Neji gave a smile. "Thank you. We'll see you in a few weeks then."
Tenten smiled back. "See you later then."
"Alright!" Naruto shouted. "Let's go!"
"There's just no point trying to shut him up, hey Neji?" Shikamaru said, walking past the gates.
"Let's go."
"Don't screw it up for those two Naruto, or you're dead, you hear me?" Sakura said, both tired and annoyed.
When they were out of earshot, Naruto gave a sigh.
"You've got a team mate that puts all that effort and kindness to seeing you off, while my team mate's farewell was more a threat than a goodbye."
Shikamaru chuckled. "At least she actually came to see you off, Naruto. Ino didn't even bother to come."
"Maybe you two just don't have nice friends in your team."
Shikamaru smirked. "Or maybe we don't have people who are more than just friends on our team."
Naruto gave Neji a nudge, before pointing his thumb behind them.
In the distance, he saw a girl waving goodbye. Her friend had already gone, but yet there she remained, waiting until Neji would no longer be in sight.
"Hehe, he's smiling again, Shikamaru."
"Seems like he's been doing it a lot this morning since we got visitors, hey Naruto?"
Neji waved back, before looking out to the path in front of them.
"Shall we get going?" Shikamaru asked.
With a nod from the other two, they sped on.
