Author's note: So here's another Brittany Oneshot based on another fruit you find. I had a REALLY long and stressful afternoon today and I'm trying to less the stress. A few words, TGIF!

Brittany's POV

"Ack! That's so sour!" Were my thoughts when I sampled the new fruit we obtained today. Seriously! I felt like my taste buds just got sucker punched! Don't get me wrong, it's still delicious. But this one will definitely need pickling down somehow before anyone would willingly eat it.

"So how does the new fruit taste?" Alph asked. He sliced a small portion and was ready to take a bite.

"Hmm… should I warn him or no?"

I didn't think fast enough, as soon as I finished my thought he took a big bite… I braced myself.

"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!" His eyeballs looked like they were going to pop out of his head! His lips were so tucked into his face I'm surprised they didn't tear off! He bolted out of the room like his bottom was on fire!

I cupped my hands over my nose and mouth and tried to hold in my building laughter. Captain Charlie stood there surprised, "Well then! I… think I'll pass this time."

I tried to keep my laughter behind my hands, but I couldn't surpass little giggling noises that came from me. I couldn't help it, that was hilarious!

Alph came back into the room looking normal, his eyes immediately went to me. I felt my held in laugh about to explode. Even more so when he started my way.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" I managed to get out between laughs, "I just had to see how you would react!"

"Aw Britz! You could've at least warned me I still would've tried it!" He explained.

"Well that wouldn't have been much fun because you would've known it was coming!"

Captain Charlie chuckled, "Come on now Alph! Where would the sense of adventure be if you knew ahead of time! You have to grit your teeth and go for it!"

Alph shot me a mischievous grin, "I'm gonna get you good for this one Britz."

Charlie laughed again, "Oh to be young and in love. I envy you two."

Okay did he really just say that!?

"C-CAPTAIN!" I freaked, I felt my face redden.

Alph too, was blushing, "W-wait! Captain! We aren't...! Things aren't like…!"

Charlie gave a hardy laugh, "Oh what I would give to be young again! Well we best get some shut-eye now! Tomorrow's another big day!" he went into his room. Leaving me and Alph there, embarrassed.

"I… we'd better get some sleep." I shyly mumbled before retreating to my room. I activated the lock and hid under my covers. I can't believe he actually said that out loud! Oh I want to kill the Captain sometimes!

On a positive note, I will never forget that face Alph made…
