Dean slept fitfully.

Twitch.

He had to ease Sam's fears. "Long as I'm around, nothing bad's gonna happen to you."

Twitch.

He stared Dad down. "We're stronger as a family, Dad. We just are. You know it."

Twitch.

Sam lay lifeless on the bed. "I had one job...and I screwed it up," he choked out through his tears. "I blew it. And for that, I'm sorry."

Twitch.

Dean abruptly jerked awake, exhausted and bleary-eyed. He must've been dreaming about Hell, again. Fortunately, he didn't remember a thing. He gazed dully at the empty, neatly-made second bed, grimaced, and then rose.
