This is just a short poem about the ending of the Wolf's Rain series. If I get inspired I might add more poems and turn this into a "poetry book". I don't know at the moment.

Disclaimer: I do not own Wolf's Rain. I wish I did...but I don't.

If There's No Such Thing

The snow just keeps on falling

On the cold and blood-stained floor.

If there's no such thing as Paradise,

What am I searching for?

The road is unrelenting,

My paws just won't stop aching,

And I have nothing precious to me now

To keep my soul from breaking.

My long howls go unanswered

To the gray and frozen sky,

There's nothing left here anymore

And no one hears my cry.

It was not much long ago,

Their fangs ripping and tearing,

One by one my friends were killed

While the red moon just kept glaring.

I hear a voice inside my head,

A calm voice softly singing.

And I cannot remember now

If it's the end or the beginning.

And the rain just keeps on falling

As I lay on the blood-stained floor.

If there's no such place as Paradise,

What am I searching for?
