ZexLex day 2012!
"You know Lexaeus, I believe today is going to be a great day." Zexion commented to his companion in the library in the castle. He reached up, standing onhis tiptoes to grab a particularly interesting looking novel from a high shelf. It had a bright blue cover with an intriguing looking symbol on the cover.
Lexaeus lifted his head up from a red-covered book on the couch to look at him. " How's this day any different from any other?" He inquired, going back to the book.
"Have you checked the calendar lately?"
"No, I usually don't."
Zexion let out an annoyed huff as he walked over to the couch and sat next to his lover. "Well if you had, Lexaeus, you would of noticed that the date of today is 6/5 ."
A smile tugged at the brunette's lips at the given information, but he hid it and decided to have a bit of fun at Zexion. "Is it? Then what makes today, 6/5, so special?" He asked.
Zexion pulled back a bit, a little surprised he didn't understand. When he glanced at him, he noticed Lexaeus was hiding a smile so Zexion knew Lexaeus did know. The bluehaired decided to play along with him.
"If you would cogitate about it, Lexaeus, you will notice my number is VI and yours is V," Zexion drawled playfully , pulling out his midnight colored reading glasses out of his coat pocket.
Lexaeus closed his book on the page he had stopped on togive his lover his full attention. " Well, I'm so glad you know our numbers!" He teased.
"Hey!" Zexion promulgated indignantly at him, and thenlet a soft laugh out. " If you would let me finish, you'll see what I'm trying to say is it's our day!"
" You're right Zex. That is special." Lexaeus concurred, smiling. He reached an arm out and pulled the smaller to him in a sidehug. " Since it is our day together, will you spend it with me?" He requested.
The dark, night blue eyes of Zexion's glowed happily. "I'd love to. How about we just stay here, today, you and me. It's nice and quiet and we could read that book we found that one day while cleaning up the library that we both like."
Lexaeus laughed happily, nodding agreement. This was another reason he loved Zexion. He didn't need much. Just some acknowledgement, a good book and love; much like himself. They were just happy to be together doing something. "Sure thing Zexxy." The Silent Hero leaned closer to him and gave him a light kiss. "I love you."
Zexion returned the kiss and when they broke apart,he gave a rare, pleased smile that he only showed around Lexaeus. he looked adoringly at Lexaeus and said: "And I love you Lex. Happy ZexLex day."

Yay! My first story on FF! I'm so excited! :D
So yeah! I had planned on publishing this story on the actual day but I had registered on 6/5 and it never occured to me that: Oh! I'm gonna have to wait a few days to actually publish something! Huh! Man was I ticked! Oh well, better a little late than never, right? Lexaeus and Zexion are really cute together don'tcha think? They have similar personalities both quiet and intellectual! . ^^ So what better thing for them to do than to read all afternoon! ( I like to read! Can I read with you guys too? ;D)
