Forbidden:

It was unheard of.
It was obscene.
It just was not done.
How it had started, no one knew.
But the enmity had been covering the fast growing attraction between the two in question for some time, there was proof enough of that;
The staring that turned into glares when eyes met,
The smiling that switched upside down when any attention was given,
The hateful comments that would have had a much bigger impact had the speaker actually sounded like they meant what they were saying...
And so on and so forth, until one day, he cracked.
I'm not going to tell you what happened, but I'll say this: one moment they were screaming at each other in hatred/anger/disgust/etc, and the next moment they... well... they weren't.
The situation they found themselves caught up in continued for some time.
Although they didn't tell anybody.
That just would've been stupid.
Besides it wasn't like they were in love or anything, I mean, what would their parents say for one thing.
Besides, he was a vile Slytherin, and she was a noble Gryffindor.
Enough said.
Yet the cat was finally let out of the bag.
They were seen.
In about half an hour, the whole school knew.
They had no choice; they had to end it all.
Because it was simply unheard of.
It was absolutely obscene.
It just shouldn't have been done.
He was Slytherin's prince.
She was Gryffindor's princess.
It was foolish, it was stupid, it was a huge mistake, and more than anything else, it was forbidden.
It was forbidden.
That's why it ended. That's why it started.
If it hadn't have been forbidden, it never would have happened.
If it hadn't have been forbidden, then she never would have fallen in love with him and he never would have fallen in love with her.
Right?
