Hey guys! :D It's been a while hasn't it? I have no excuse for posting this pointless drabble when both of my other stories haven't been updated in over a month. I was bored on my computer earlier today and this just kind of happened. I promise I'll churn out a chapter of both stories by Sunday.
Disclaimer: I do not own Glee or any of it's characters. I'm just a teenage girl. The only thing I own is an iPod touch. I don't even own this computer.
If you asked him how it happened, he couldn't tell you. He couldn't pinpoint the exact moment he knew he was in love. It just sort of happened. He could tell you exactly when he realized he had feelings for the beautiful boy, but to tell you when he knew said boy was the love of his life? Well, it's just too complicated for him to explain.
It's called falling in love for a reason, you know. You don't just wake up one day and love someone. It's gradual. Your feelings for them build up more and more until one day you realize you could never live without that person. Seeing them cry is more heartbreaking than your own sadness. You would do anything in the world to see them smile because you only feel happy when they are happy. That's how he felt about Kurt. That, and so, somuch more.
When he told Kurt he loved him, it had kind of just slipped out. He hadn't meant to say it, but the timing was just so right. Looking back, he knows he wouldn't have done it any other way. Kurt was a romantic and unplanned declarations of love are the most romantic.
Kurt really was the love of his life. There was no doubt in his mind that he wanted to be with this boy forever. He tried to explain it to his mom, but she called him crazy. "You're just a teenage boy, you don't even know what love is." She had said. He had just nodded and agreed, knowing better than to disagree with his mother lest he want to sit through a thirty minute lecture on how she was always right. But deep down inside, he knew he was right. He knew what love was. Age didn't make a difference to him.
It was common knowledge that most high school relationships didn't last, and that most people who married in their early twenties would get divorced. But that was not going to be him and Kurt. They would get married, but they were going to wait. It wasn't like he didn't love Kurt enough to marry him. He wanted to grow old with this boy, but that didn't mean he wanted to marry him as soon as possible. He wanted them to last forever, or as close to forever as life would allow, and if that meant waiting to make Kurt exclusively his (although, as far as either boy was concerned they were all ready thoroughly committed to each other) then so be it. Blaine would wait.
Excuse this horrible excuse for writing I just put you through. Also, if any of you want to follow me on twitter
( _ glee tastic - without the spaces) that would make my life! I would love you forever and bake you virtual cookies and give you a million virtual hugs and be your best friend forever. If you follow me just mention it in a review and I'll follow back. You should definitely tweet me too(; I'm a lonely girl.
