Hi, people! This is a short Leyna One-shoot that occured to me inspired by a One Direction song (all directioners reading this, try to figure out which one it is :D).
Also, if you notice any grammar mistakes PLEASE tell me. English is not my first language, so help me out with that, guys.
Hope you like it! R&R
"Just let it go, man. You'll never get her. It's not really worth it"
That's what everybody told him whenever he stared at that gorgeous girl.
He always got lost just by watching her, with that queen pose, walking gracefully yet intimidating in between the crowd of excited campers.
But this time, this night of the celebration party after the victory against Gaea, was different.
She was different.
He had never seen her without her golden armor and purple praetor cloak. And of course he has never expected to see her in a dress, with make up on and with her hair completely loose around her shoulders.
And it wasn't just that.
Something about her made her glow with a sudden beauty that oblige you to look at her every time she walked by.
Her shoulders weren't rigid and tense from keeping in so many emotions. Her hand wasn't gripping her dagger; it was just swinging free as she walked carelessly.
And her face... Oh, that was the best part. It was glowing, with sparkling black eyes that were free of all that pain and pressure that has been locked in them for so long.
And the most beautiful of it all was that smile.
He had never seen it come out. It was always hidden, buried under the strong and confident facade that had made her the leader of the Roman Camp.
And he loved it. No smile in the world could make him feel like that smile. That pure and enchanting smile.
She looked gorgeous, like a goddess.
So, of course he couldn't take his eyes away from her, and the urge to make that smile stay in her face forever overwhelmed him.
She was a good twenty feet away from him, talking with people, completely unaware of the curly haired boy looking at her dumbfounded.
He wanted to walk forward, grab those strong hands of her that so many battles had fought, and tell her those three little words that were starting to rise in his chest from the first time he had amused himself with that queen: I Love You.
But he didn't.
Because he knew that that smile will never be because of him.
And as it always happens with all the girls he falls in love with, he will blew it. He didn't want that to happen with this girl.
She was special. Nobody compares to her.
She looked so beautiful. So happy...
And it hurt him. Because he knew she wouldn't be his.
Not tonight.
It didn't matter, though; as long as that smile stayed on her face he could wait for that perfect moment that will make her his queen.
