From Emily's point of view.
When I look at her I can see the beauty that not everyone else seems to see. I don't see the girl who rules the school, I see the sweet girl she is when we're together. I don't see the girl who looks down on everyone, and I feared by everyone, I see the girl I've always loved.
''Hey, Em'' Ali says. ''I've been looking for you, I've got a surprise for you.'' I didn't expect to see Ali here in the library, since it was past school hours. ''What's the occasion?'' I ask her. ''I don't need a reason to do something nice for you, do I? ''I just like to see you smile.'' Ali answers. I look at her, trying to figure her out. When we're together, just the two of us, she is the most amazing girl I've ever met, but when we're all together, she turns into a whole different person. ''Well, what is it?'' You're making me curious'' I say. I can't help but smile. She grabs my hand and drags me with her. I like the feeling I get when she holds my hand. It reminds me of the time we were in the woods near the lake. We were walking in the woods and she held my hand, it was the time she told me that she felt different about me compared to the other girls, but she couldn't really place the feeling, but I knew exactly how she felt, because I've been feeling the same ever since I met her.
''Where are you taking me?'' I ask her. She drags me with her until we're in front of the old English classroom that hasn't been used in ages. ''Close your eyes, Em.'' She says. I hear her opening the door, and she grabs my hand. ''Don't peek.'' She says giggling. When I hear the door closing she tells me to open my eyes. I can not believe what I am seeing. On the floor there is a French flag with some cushions on it. There is a basket with baguettes, and there's even wine. The roof is decorated with little French flags. ''Ali, what is all of this?'' I ask her, still shocked about what I see. ''That offer to go to Paris with me still stands.'' ''You, me and sweet Paris, remember?'' ''How about forever?'' I answer.
She gets closer to me, looks into my eyes for a few seconds, and then she kisses me.
''Forever sounds good to me.'' She says while smiling.
