I always told myself I didn't care. I wasn't supposed to care. I wasn't supposed to worry about him every second of the day. He wasn't supposed to be constantly on my mind. Nothing about him was supposed to matter to me. Everything mattered. Everything he did, every little thought and every spoken word mattered. It all mattered to me. Anything either sent me to heaven or hell. Never in between.
"Nico!" I grit my teeth and turn around. He was running towards me, he hair blowing back as he rushed forward and his green eyes shining in the sun. His perfect body pulled me into a hug.
"P-Percy! What are you doing?" I stuttered.
"You've been gone for weeks without telling anybody where you were! Hazel is an emotional wreck rigt now! I couldn't rest because I was so worried!"
"I'm sorry. I had business in the underworld," he finally stopped hugging me. I really was in the underworld but I didn't really have business. Percy hit me in the back of the head.
"Don't lie! Why where you really there?" I stared at him. "I really needed someone to talk to. "
"You have plenty of people to talk to. Like Annabeth," Percy's face fell when I said that.
"Annabeth broke up with me."
"What? Why?" I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
"Don't worry! I not that upset! We both kind of figured out that we liked other people so the breakup was mutual."
"Oh. I hope it all works out for you. If you don't mind me asking, who do you like?" I really was curious. As much as it pained me to think it wasn't me I wanted to help. Percy just kind of stared at me for a few seconds.
"What? Is there-"his lips crashed onto mine. After I got over the shock I started kissing back.
Everything Percy does or says will either send me to heaven or hell. Today he sent me to heaven.
