Disclaimer: I do not own anything, except the plot. Don't sue me, I don't have money.
Warning: characters may be OOC. And I am not good at writing kissing scenes. LOL.
No one ever knew what would happen when the first lady knight in a hundred years died. I never knew what would happen either. I just feel it's my fault. I shouldn't have needed saving.

A girl about the age of 16 with a two inch stubble of reddish brown hair was standing outside the ancient five-story tower of Tanair castle in Lombyn. Her gaze was directed at a boy whose skin was dark (but not raka brown) and eyes that were brown, long-lashed and deeply set on either side of a long, thin razor of a nose. He was hanging on to the wall of the castle with surprising ease.
The girl started to laugh but the boy she was looking at just shrugged.
"I saw my favorite bug. You hardly see them around this time of year."
The girl whose name was Alianne laughed again. "Get down here, Nawat Crow!!"
He jumped from his perch on the wall and landed on the ground in front of Aly.
"Show-off." She muttered.
"Oh, but when we start mating you must learn how to do this too!" teased Nawat. He finally got what it meant to tease and joke in a human way.
"How many times do I have to tell you that we are NOT going to ma—"
He had captured her lips in a soft warm kiss. One part of Aly wanted to jump back, but the other part took delight in his kiss. He cradled the back of her neck and kissed her more deeply. He hesitated then stopped and smiled. "I like this type of mate-feeding." He said, still not learning its real term. "It's a step closer to mating, according to Falthin."
Aly shook her head to clear it and demanded "How DARE you do that to me here! How dare you do it to me at all! There are so many peo—"
"Shh." He whispered as he put a finger to her sensual mouth. He hoisted her up into his arms and carried her off to the ladies garden, a small green oasis with a fountain, flowers and trees tucked between the castle keep's walls.
As Aly searched the garden for people, she clearly remembered the time he first kissed her. It was in this very garden. She put a finger to her lips and looked at Nawat. He was smiling again.
He put her down under the shade of a tree and sat beside her. "I've got a few minutes before I go back to Falthin's." he said.
Aly just stayed quiet, not looking at him. She didn't want to get involved in a romance, not now anyway. She liked Nawat. She liked him a lot, in fact.
