Sometimes, he wonders if he truly makes a difference and fears he does not and that his cherished dream is all just a colossal mistake, a mistake that costs lives as he and his students lose family and friends and see whole worlds and civilizations come crumbling down. Yet, then, there are those times when his children come to him and hug him tightly or just smile their pride of him and of their dream. He doubts with each life they lose, but these moments, and every life they save, always reminds him that his dream is worth the fight.
