"It's almost 10, get up!" Mike though to himself "Sarahs' already up! She's making coffee—probably making pancakes, if you don't get down there in time then Grace will eat them all." He continued.
Mike grumbled as he slowly sat up in bed, digging into his eye and pulling out an eye boogie before flicking it off; he huffed as he slowly got out of bed and walked into the bathroom to relive himself before making his way downstairs.
He heard the morning cartoons on the TV as he climbed down the stairs, he smiled gently as he walked through the living room and saw The Powerpuff Girls at full blast as he walked into the kitchen.
"Morning." He muttered, coming up behind Sarah.
Sarah smirked as she felt his hands come up behind her and hugging her tight before kissing her cheek "My little sex kitten." He whispered in her ear.
She giggled as he kissed her neck, gasping as she turned back to hit him "You are so bad." She told him.
Mike smirked "Well, last night was amazing." He told her.
"Despite the having to be super quiet part." Sarah muttered as she walked over to a cupboard and grabbed a coffee mug to prepare a cup of coffee for Mike.
Mike chuckled "It didn't stop us from having fun." He said, kissing her again.
Sarah let a smile out as she poured the steaming coffee into the mug before handing it over to Mike so he could doctor it to his liking; she looked him over as he stood before her in his boxers and a gray t-shirt.
Mike has his typical bed head and a groggy look in his eyes which made Sarah smile even brighter as she leaned in and kissed him again "I love you." She told him.
"I love you too." He said to her.
"So, what's for breakfast?" Mike asked her.
Sarah smiled "Why do you ask? Did you have something in mind?" she asked him.
Mike shrugged "I was kind of fantasizing about pancakes." He remarked.
"Well, you in luck cause your daughter demanded that I make pancakes." Sarah said with a smile.
Mike shook his fist in joy "Awesome!" he told her.
Sarah smirked "You want anything in yours? Strawberries, Blueberries…we might have a bag of chocolate chips in the cupboard." She told him.
Mike shook his head "No. Plain is fine." He said.
Sarah huffed "Well, I see where Grace gets it—you two are so boring!" she remarked.
"Don't be hatin' on me! So we both like plain pancakes—you like to douse everything in syrup, we've all got our kinks." Mike remarked, trying to defend his like.
Sarah laughed "Okay, okay…fine. I'm sorry I made fun of your 'kink'." She eye balled him before going back to the pan on the stove top to flip the pancake.
Mike stretched in place as he put his cup of coffee down "I'm gonna go get dressed, maybe brush my teeth." He said, walking out of the kitchen.
He made his way back upstairs and into his bedroom where his cell phone was beginning to flash a light indicating that he had a voice mail; he sighed as he walked over to his phone and checked to see who had called him.
Mike rolled his eyes in frustration as he listened to the voicemail from Headquarters telling him that he needed to come to the office at his 'earliest' convenience.
"Well, if I have to go in, at least let me have my pancakes first!" he thought to himself as he put his phone down and walked into the bathroom where he promptly shut the door behind him.
