The Guardian from the Void
Chapter 1
Naruto opened his eyes but he saw nothing but darkness, he felt his body move to his will yet no matter how much he blinked the darkness that appeared before him never went away. How long has he been in this darkness? He remembers Madara trying to rip the Kyuubi out but after that nothing. Naruto wondered if he died or something along those lines. As he wondered where he was and what had happen to him after he had lost consciousness, his chakra was pulsing as if sending out a coded signal. It was weak at first but it quickly got stronger and stronger.
As the pulses continued, Kami and Shikigami were having a meeting on how to deal with Madara and Orochimaru, since no matter what kind of miracle they bestow upon the tide winning battles; they still somehow won in the end. This irked Shikigami heavily like nothing before and now they have a way to take souls from him too! Those souls are his! For them to disappear and NOT receive their punishment, is unforgiveable and went against the rules of the dead.
Kami is really, REALLY passionate about life and those who are good, but you can't really give souls a peaceful afterlife when they are taken and forced to fight again with the living. At first, Kami didn't mind since they would return later with a happy aura around them after seeing their friends and family who were among the living but later on, many disappeared at eh same time. Some were forced to battle in Shikigami's stomach. This made Kami really annoyed about what was happening with the souls that deserved a peaceful after life.
Kami and Shikigami discussed how to rid the annoyances without getting directly involved with the mortal realm. They both suddenly felt a powerful pulse coming towards them. They quickly traced the pulse back to its source, since no other being was supposed to be in this realm. When they reared the source, they had to stop since the entrance of the void was just of them.
The void is a place of nothingness. Nothing existed and even if anything did enter it, it will be quickly consumed. One might say the void was a being itself, as it did nothing but consume all that come within its reach.
"This…why must it be here" Kami whispered to herself
"The void…there is no hope for this being." Muttered Shikigami, as he turn around to leave.
"Wait! Don't you feel that? The void…it...it's getting smaller? Less? Erased?" said Kami
"So what do you want to stay and find out? This is the void...nothing can be created here, only consumed" said Shikigami "but I'll humor you, we'll wait and see what will happen."
'I know I'm right! The void IS receding like something is pulling or pushing it back!' Kami thought
The two Gods stood there waiting…
