Four Leaps

"Can we go to St. Mungo's today, Rolf?"

The man looked up from his Magizoology magazine in surprise.

"What's up, Luna? Are you not feeling well? Is something wrong with the twins?" The wizard asked in a series of rapid-fire questions, anxiousness tingeing his voice.

Luna almost laughed aloud. Silly man.

"There's nothing wrong with the twins; it's just that we've decided that I'm going to have them this morning." Her gaze slid into focus and glanced at her husband from her comfy chair, free of Wrackspurts. "So can we go to St. Mungo's?"

Rolf stared with wide brown eyes. "I – but – they're not due until next week!" He exclaimed, getting up from his seat nervously.

"No, no, we're going to do this today." Luna said serenely, getting up as well. Rolf finally noticed the state of her clothing, and paled dramatically. His wife giggled airily, and headed for the Floo. Rolf continued to stand frozen, watching Luna practically waddle for the fireplace, and then finally his brain snapped into gear.

"R – Right, right! St. Mungo's, right, St. Mungo's." He stuttered, and they left the cottage with a fwoosh of modified blue fire.

AN: WARNING! Headcanon up ahead! Complete and utter fanon~

Because of the mildly turbulent way regular green Floo travel is, St. Mungo's created a softer, albeit slower form of Floo travel, identified with the colour blue. The powder is what makes the difference in the quality of the Floo travel; St. Mungo's powder is pale blue (like how its counterpart is pale green) and has the consistency of baby powder. As well, St. Mungo's Floo powder will take you directly to St. Mungo's whether or not you state the name of the wing you wish to Floo to (if not stated, then you land in Emergency).

Yeah, alright. So, I have writer's block on the Acadia fic for the Hetalia fandom, and went to the Harry Potter fandom to ... work out my muse. Here, we are presented with Luna Scamander and Rolf Scamander in the year 2000, on Leap Year Day, and the Scamander twins (identical boys, by the names of Lorcan and Lysander Scamander) are born. There are three more parts to this, that I will hopefully find time to upload by March Break at the latest. Yeah. Sorry. Incidentally, my Hetalia fics come before these kids, mainly because I want to write a nice, long-chaptered fic with the HP Next-Gen.

Alright, that's enough from me. Enjoy Leap Year Day!
