Merlin and Gwaine were sat in the tavern when it happened. Gwaine was drinking some fizzy drink called 'Coca Cola'. His eyes suddenly widened and he grinned. He let out a high pitched giggle and ran out the tavern. Merlin picked up the can and ran after him.
"Gaius!" Merlin ran into the court physician's chambers. "Gwaine's gone mad!" He gave Gaius the can.
"Hmm," he said, "I've seen this before. They're calling it a 'sugar rush'. It's caused by something called caffeine." At that moment Gwaine ran in, laughing like a hyena.
"He could be like this for hours, couldn't he?" Merlin asked. Gaius nodded.
"Caffeine wakes you up – I'm afraid he could be like this all night." Merlin looked at Gwaine in horror.
"PLEASE, NO."
