Chapter 1: Followed
3rd Person POV
She could hear the legion of monsters panting; she forced herself to go faster to run harder. Her ADHD brain took now (at the worst possible moment!) to think about the days before she found out she was a demigod or half-blood as Gillian called her. Her name was Cristina she is 13 years old and now calls herself 'Fire ant' to be safe. When she gets to Camp Olympus she will reveal her identity that was her plan, or Gillian's plan. She kept running getting lost in her flashback.
Marie POV
Finally I was back in fury form (a minor fury mind you) and I could hear my prey's breathing and heavy footfalls. We were very close now.
Cristina's Flashback
"Hey Jill what's up?"
"I-I need to tell you something."
"Shoot."
"You know all those Greek demigods from all those Greek stories. Well your one of them. That means the gods and goddesses are real too and I'm a goddess. You have a powerful aura. That means one or both of your parents are gods. You already are very powerful and dangerous."
"You mean something can attack and possibly kill me?"
"It's a possibility, yes."
"But what about satyrs can't one of them come and be my protector!"
"Yes but I must admit it's weird that none has found you yet. Any way you must go to Camp Olympus where you'll be safe. Now on the way reveal yourself to no one until you get there, they'll help you I'm sure of it. Now go."
Flashback fades
Minotaur POV
Marie told us quietly that we are gaining on this demigod. I can hardly wait to send my spear into her heart.
Percy POV
Heroes of Olympus and I were guarding Camp when we heard a scream accompanied by cheering that sounded like a huge monster army. We started to go towards the thicket when a young girl burst forward. She summoned fire (it was too fast for me to see what color it was) and through it at the Minotaur. I looked at Leo and said "I thought you were the only one that summon fire." "I am." He told me. "Then why can she" I said. "I don't know but now might not be the greatest time to talk about it." Leo gestured to the demigod. I saw he was right and we started to run towards her.
