A/N: Weird story is weird. End A/N

Twilight was currently reading the new magic books she had received this morning. The over-excited mare was too engulfed with reading and magic to stop, despite the pain she was receiving in her horn from over-doing it.

"Gosh, I really need to take a break." She said to no one in particular. She was currently the only one in the house, Spike off at Rarity's place.

However, despite knowing she should take a short nap, she couldn't resist reading the new magic spells. She sighed, rubbing her horn which was in a pressure like pain from doing too much magic. Against her better judgement, she was too excited to just stop and take a nap. She had waited two weeks for these books. She wasn't going to let some pain in her horn stop that. She levitated up the next magic book onto the stand, opening it to the first page. She proceeded to begin reading the spell.

Duplication spell. This spell can make any object duplicate, but only for a short period of time. To try this spell, you must first get an object to test it on.

She proceeded to look around. Her eyes eventually spotted an empty basket. She levitated it over to her, causing the pressure-like pain in her horn to slightly increase. She tried to ignore it and continue reading the spell.

Now, focus on the object. Imagine it splitting into two. If done successfully, you should now have two of the same object. One, the original, permanent. And the other, the duplicate, temporary. This spell does not work on food, gems, or live beings. Effect lasts for twelve hours.

"Okay." She said to herself. She began to focus on the basket, her horn beginning to glow. The pressure-like feeling becoming stronger, but she tried to ignore it.

She proceeded to begin imagining it splitting into two. The pressure-like pain began to increase beyond what she was comfortable with trying to ignore, but she was too into the spell to stop. She squeezed her eyes closed and tried to deal with the pain. She continued to try and imagine it splitting into two.

About half-way, the pain was getting immense. She gritted her teeth in pain. She was beginning to regret doing this. She should've just rested. The pressure-like pain was now the worst she had ever experienced. It was becoming too much to handle. She squeezed her eyes closed to the point it was beginning to hurt. She proceeded to grit her teeth even harder, hoping the spell would complete soon.

The pain was beginning to get un-imaginable. She was silently yelled in her mind to try to stop, that she should've just rested. At this point she was getting afraid. What was going to happen? She began to cry, the pain and the thoughts becoming too much to handle.

The pain, despite seeming impossible, got worse. It got to the point to where she screamed. She had never felt so much pressure-like pain in her life. It eventually got too much, and she passed out, exhausted and out of breath.

A/N: Weird story is weird. Don't worry, Twilight is fine. This story is just random crap that got shat out of the site. End A/N
