The Ballad of Jason Todd
Only for five years did we know him being alive.
"Jason Todd, the Good solder," was all they said.
A flux in the universe and a Pit brought him back.
But for seventeen years we thought him dead.
When fans read about Hush the first time,
We all were surprised to see Jason at the end.
But then he was being impersonated by Clayface.
But when we found his grave empty, we all made an amended.
'Under the Red Hood' told us all we need to know.
A new villan was in Gotham, the Red Hood.
He crossed lines, that even Batman wouldn't.
Even though he killed, he was still good.
Batman tied to stop him, but no avail,
But Red Hood would just get away.
Who was this mystery man, this demonic biker?
He targeted the Joker to satisfy his allay.
Batman quickly figured it out.
But it was confirmed while they fought.
Red Hood took off his helmet, and was revealed to be Jason!
He thought he could do better, but it was all for naught.
In a showdown between Red Hood, Batman, and the Joker,
Hood threatened the Bat, "Shoot him or I shoot myself" he stated.
The Bat said no, and then fought the Hood.
remember this children, for this would be the rest of their meetings, as it was fated.
Although Batman was winning, Red Hood had a trick.
He planted bombs in the building, and then escaped.
Batman barely got out in time. Joker had already left too.
Each other's fates they would shaped.
Created in 1983, died in 1888, came back in 2005. This is Jason Todd.
Killed by Joker, crowbars and explosion in a heartbeat.
Once on the streets, then a Bird, and now a Hood.
Died because of a close vote, came back to knock us off his fate.
