Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter or Batman

Harry Potter was taking a leisurely Stroll through the back alleys of Gotham city, why was here their you ask? Well put simply it was due to the rumours of a Bat man roaming around the city and tormenting people, though it only targeted criminals a giant bat creature did cause the local wizards to worry and Harry figured since he was traveling through the area that he'd check it out to see if it was true and whether the apparent creature was dangerous. Harry had never seen or heard of such a creature before and so his interest was piqued. Some would have considered hunting an unknown creature alone to be rather risky and dangerous but Harry wasn't exactly sane anymore, well that's what people told him anyway though he didn't have the foggiest as to why they thought so.

There was a noise behind him and before he knew it he was pinned to a way with a knife to his throat. Harry stared owlishly at his attacker. The man was rather ugly and smelled.

"You know you could use a bath," Harry suggested, trying to be helpful.

The man was dumbfounded for a moment before anger surged through him.

"Shut up and give me your wallet or you'll find yourself lacking a body part," The man hissed.

"Well that's not very nice, I like all my body parts attached thank you very much," Harry informed the man. "Just out of curiosity which body part where you planning on taking?"

"What the hell is wrong with you?" The man demanded. "Just give me your money."

"But I didn't bring any money with me tonight, you see I'm hunting for a giant bat creature who frequents the night and attacks criminals."

The man screamed in outrage and knocked Harry to the ground, causing the wizard to bash his head against the pavement.

"Oww," Harry moaned, the world swirled around him.

Before the man could attack again a shadow fell over the alley and a cloaked figure jumped down in front of Harry. Batman knocked the man out and cuffed him then turned to the fallen teen.

Harry looked up at the cape man before him of him, he was leaning on his elbow to get a better look. Unsteadily he tried to rise but his knees buckled and he would have toppled over if Batman hadn't steadied him. The teen swayed on his feet, he decided to lean against a wall to make sure he wouldn't fall over again.

Batman checked the teen over to make sure he didn't have any serious injuries; the hero was thankful to see that the teen didn't appear to have any.

"You should go to the hospital, you've got a concussion," Batman stated.

"Who are you?" Harry asked.

"I'm Batman,"

"Wait your Batman so there isn't a giant bat creature lurking in the shadows?" Harry questioned.

Stupefied Batman nodded.

"Aww bloody hell that sucks, I wanted to see a creature liked that, well this was just a big waste of time," Harry complained. He cast a glance at Batman and sighed.

"Thanks I guess for saving me, can you make sure the chap on the floor washes and doesn't attack anyone?"

Not knowing what else to say Batman nodded again.

"Kay well thanks I should probably go now bye," Just as he was about to turn and leave Harry thought it would be rude to leave without at least offering up his name so he decided to introduce himself, "By the way my names Harry Potter, thanks again for saving me, if you ever need any help give me a call," He fished out a business card and offered it to Batman who took it.

"Alright goodbye," Harry grinned before apparating away, leaving a very confused and shocked Batman. Said hero looked at the card he'd received which solved some of his confusion but left more questions. Some research would be required.
