Just a short one-shot about one certain idea which popped into my mind recently.
Cats Really Don't Like Him
He was walking through the forest, trying to find some familiar place. He had no memories of what happened or how he got here. The only thing he knew was that he woke up in the middle of nothing with no clue as to where he was.
He's been walking for several hours already, not that the walking would bother him, but the lack of civilization did. He's met no people during all that time, which was quite unusual because he was sure that no matter the direction, he should already get somewhere, but there were only trees all the time.
He heard a rustling in the bush and he quickly took a defensive stance in case of danger. He sighed relived when he saw that it was only a little cat. Though, something was strange about this particular cat.
The cat tilted her head when she saw him and he was also watching her. He noticed immediately what was strange about it. The cat had two tails instead of one. When neither of them moved for a longer time, Suzaku sighed.
"You're one strange cat, aren't you? I've never seen a cat with two tails." He commented, the silence from the past few hours getting to him, forcing him to break it at any cost.
"Meow?" Kirara answered and Suzaku chuckled. He took a careful step towards the cat and when she did nothing against it, he went all the way towards her and bent down to her. All the time Kirara was watching him cautiously in case he would do something suspicious, but she didn't notice any such action.
Suzaku stretched his arm towards her and scratched her behind the ears. Kirara purred slightly, closing her eyes, and Suzaku smiled. They were like this for a few moments when Kirara's eyes suddenly snapped open and Suzaku held back the yelp of pain.
He looked at his hand and saw the very familiar look of a cat biting him into his finger. He looked the cat into the eyes and after a short moment of their eyes being locked to each other, she let him go and ran away.
Suzaku sighed, watching the spot where the cat disappeared and then turning back to look at his hand.
No, cats really don't like him.
