Waiting
Kagura hated waiting.
But she wouldn't mind waiting for him.
Kagura sat under a large tree where they used to hang out together; whether they bicker, fight, or just relax to pass time. She sat there so still, wearing her clothes from yesterday. Her eyes wide open and hands on her lap. She didn't move an inch as she waited and waited.
Winter came, it was freezing cold but she didn't let the cold get to her and waited.
Spring came, plants grew and flowers bloomed. It looked so beautiful but she disregarded them and waited.
Summer came, it was hot as hell but she didn't let the heat get to her as she was shaded under the tree and waited.
Autumn came, eventually leaves started falling and nearly covered her unmoving body. But with all the strength she has, she brushed them off and waited.
Finally she was becoming doubtful as she still continued to wait. Did Sadist broke really their promise? Did he survive the war? Was he too injured to not come here? And more questions appeared after the other but none were answered.
Suddenly, Kagura felt sleepy. She tried to resist but she was too tired to do so. Maybe taking a short nap is alright.
Hurry up Sadist!, she thought angrily as her sleepy but teary cerulean eyes closed so slowly. Leaving a tear fall down her cheek. She fell to a deep slumber, it was so deep that she never woke up.
-na!," a familiar voice was calling to her. She looked around the darkness and surprisingly saw a speck of light. "China!," a pair of arms snaked around her waist. It was so warm and comfy. She knew who it was so she returned the gesture. She pulled him close and lay her head on his chest, smiling. "You finally returned Sa-…Sougo." Then pulled away, they stared at each other with a similar loving expression.
"Let's go Kagura," he grabbed her hand firmly and they walked away, following the path of light.
And at last, they were reunited and we're together for all eternity.
