Chapter 1
The world that never was
Kairi awoke to the sound of a soft flute in the night.
"Wha...?" she moaned, "am I dreaming?" She got up and walked out of her tree house room, out onto the walkway.
She saw a form in a black coat playing a flute on the sand, close to the endless ocean separating their world form the Kingdom.
She ran to Sora's room and started to pat him on the shoulder to get him to wake up.
"Sora..." Kairi Said "Wake up... The Organization!"
"Sora woke up slowly, and stood up, leaning on his dresser. "Let me get into my clothes at least. " He moaned, "I don't want to be fighting Heartless in my PJs!"
"Well then I'll tell Riku now" she said, leaving him in the room.
"I could hear you," said Riku, exiting form his room "you're really loud."
"Well, c'mon then!" Kairi said energetically "Got your Keyblades?"
Sora ran in with his in his hands "Yep! I'm ready!"
"If you saw the Organization on the beach..." said Riku "Kingdom hearts must be in trouble!"
"How do we get there?" Asked Kairi "There isn't just some portal here on the island."
"Yes, there is." Said Sora "The first time I went to Twilight Town I went through the portal in the cave. It might still work."
