Everybody comes and goes

No one will ever stay

This the Doctor knows

They'll grow old

And then they'll die

Yet the Doctor

Can never say Goodbye

So he travels all alone

In his box so blue

He fakes a smile upon his face

For both his hearts are torn in two

The whole of time and space

Can never bring them back

Only one lonely man returns

The immortal, Captain Jack

He goes where he is needed

And finds friends along the way

Smiling brightly once again

He asks them if they'll stay

He never sticks around

To hear a "Thank you"

So when people ask "Where's the Doctor?"

The reply is "Doctor Who?"
